  3. Ostriches make their nests on the ground. Ostriches don‚Äôt make their nests in the trees like other birds because they can‚Äôt fly.
  4. Ostriches dig a hole in the ground and lay the eggs inside.  Then they sit on the nest and hatch the eggs.
  5. The males help the females to hatch the eggs.
  6. The eggs are very hard.
  7. To break the eggs one needs a saw and a hammer.
